Impact With the Jets down 3-0 after two periods, Morrissey sparked a wild comeback on the road by helping to set up a Kyle Connor tally just 96 seconds into the final frame. The blueliner than had a hand in Mark Scheifele's tying goal and an Nino Niederreiter empty-netter. Morrissey hasn't scored a goal of his own in 19 straight games, but those with fantasy shares in him haven't been complaining -- he's dished multiple assists in five of the last six games, erupting for 13 points over that blistering stretch.

Impact Both tallies came in the third period, but so did the rest of the Jets' offense as they erased a 3-0 deficit with a stunning road comeback. It's Niederreiter's first multi-goal performance of 2024, with his last coming Dec. 30 against the Wild, and it was a rare flash of production from the 31-year-old winger -- he's made it onto the scoresheet only four times in the last 20 games. On the season, Niederreiter's compiled 16 goals and 30 points in 59 contests.

Connor Hellebuyck - Hangs on for win Saturday Hellebuyck made 32 saves in Saturday's 5-3 win over the Hurricanes.
Impact After a scoreless first period, Carolina beat Hellebuyck three times in the second to take control of the game. The Jets flipped the script in the final frame however, as the netminder shut the door while his teammates finally solved Pyotr Kochetkov. Incredibly, Hellebuyck has given up more than three goals in a game only twice since the beginning of November, and on the season he ranks among the league leaders in wins (29), GAA (2.25) and save percentage (.924).

Impact Vilardi is poised to miss his second straight game Sunday against Buffalo after he sat out Saturday's 5-3 win over Carolina. The 24-year-old forward has 16 goals, 30 points and 93 shots on net in 38 appearances this season.
