Reggie Bush joined FOX Sports as a college football studio analyst prior to the 2019 season. He sits alongside former USC teammate Matt Leinart, Brady Quinn, Bob Stoops and host Rob Stone on the BIG NOON KICKOFF college football pregame show. Bush spent 11 seasons in the NFL and won Super Bowl XLIV in 2010 as a member of theNew Orleans Saints.
Bush also contributes to FS1 daily studio shows.
Bush retired from the NFL following the 2016 season. He finished his career with 5,490 rushing yards on 1,286 carries and 36 touchdowns with two 1,000-yard rushing seasons. The all-purpose threat also finished with 477 receptions for 3,598 yards and 18 receiving touchdowns. In 2008, he was named First Team All-Pro by Sporting News as a punt returner after finishing the season with 20 punt returns for 270 yards and three touchdowns. Bush spent five seasons (2006-10) with the Saints after being selected by the team with the second overall pick of the 2006 NFL Draft. He also played for the Miami Dolphins (2011-12), Detroit Lions (2013-14), San Francisco 49ers (2015) and Buffalo Bills (2016).
In three seasons (2003-05) at USC, Bush became one of the most heralded athletes in college football history. He earned consensus All-America honors and Pac-10 Player of the Year accolades twice (2004, 2005). In 2005, Bush was honored with the Doak Walker Award and the Walter Camp Award and was named Player of the Year by the Associated Press and Sporting News. He led the nation with an average of 222.3 all-purpose yards per game in 2005 and finished fourth in the NCAA with an average of 133.8 rushing yards per game.
In addition to Bush’s contributions on the field, he’s been active in the community through his foundation, 619 Charitable Foundation which seeks to support causes that directly benefit the youth of San Diego. Additionally, he hosts an annual "Bush Family Charitable Weekend" in San Diego with the past few year’s proceeds going to The Birthday Party Project, a non-profit bringing joy to children experiencing homelessness through the magic of a birthday party.
Bush graduated from Helix High School in La Mesa, Calif., where he was the top running back in the country and won numerous national awards. As a senior in 2002, he ran for 1,691 yards on 140 carries (12.1 avg.) and 27 touchdowns despite missing four games due to injury. In 2001, Bush made Cal-Hi Sports All-State first team, Cal-Hi Sports Underclass first team and was the All-CIF San Diego Section first team Offensive MVP. He finished with 3,135 all-purpose yards and 34 touchdowns in 2001. Bush currently resides in Los Angeles with his wife, Lilit, and their three children, Briseis, Uriah and Agyemang.
