Impact Thielmann was tied with Benno Schmitz for the team lead in accurate crosses with both players picking up assists. Fantasy production probably won't be as easy for anybody on the club to come by, including Thielmann, heading into Sunday's matchup with Bayern Munich.

While he is unlikely to reach that threshold during the upcoming campaign, Modeste could still provide solid fantasy value given his attacking ability.

Impact Andersson was in and out of the squad last season due to his lingering knee issue, so the club will almost certainly play it safe with his minutes. Even with the forward coming off the bench, he could be an out-of-the-box fantasy option given his ability to generate offense.

Impact Horn figures to be sidelined indefinitely at this point and will almost certainly miss the start of the 2021-22 campaign. The defender started 20 of his 29 matches last season, in which he recorded 42 clearances, 35 tackles and 51 crosses (17 accurate), and likely would have featured heavily in the starting XI this year as well. Benno Schmitz could be the primary beneficiary of Horn's absence in terms of minutes.

Marvin Schwabe - Joins on free transfer Schwabe completed a move to FC Koln from Brondby IF on Thursday.

Impact Schwabe appeared in 33 matches for Brondby last season across all competitions in which he conceded 40 goals and registered eight clean sheets. With Timo Horn unlikely to relinquish the No. 1 spot with Koln, Schwabe may see limited action in the Bundesliga but could get opportunities in the DFB Pokal.

Impact Hubers will make his return to the Bundesliga after making 20 league appearances in the second tier for Hannover last season. After his next club only narrowly avoided relegation, it will be up to Hubers to help bolster the defense in the coming campaign.

Impact Horn was tasked with picking grass in one of the most important games of the season. The keeper did not see much of Schalke's attack and when he did, it was never a true attempt on net. However, he has his backline to thank for this. Horn has made just one save over his past two appearances with clean sheets in both. He has been unreliable for the majority of the season and his backline has stepped up in a large way perfect timing to make up for it.

Impact Bornauw was fantastic in the epic win Saturday. The defender not only helped lead the backline and start the transition, but he also joined the attack a few times to provide another body. It just so happened that he managed to escape his man in the final minutes to secure the all important goal to possibly save Koln's season. Bornauw has been a rock on the backline all season and he has been looking to move up more lately to help on set-pieces. If he can continue doing this, he will only boost his value as a multi-dimensional center-back.

Impact Thielmann did not do much to help support any attack. However, he dished out the critical cross to set up the game-winning goal after his own attempt on net. Thielmann has had issues staying fit and being consistent for the majority of the season. However, luckily for Koln he managed to find his best form in the possible season-saving performance. Although, until he can prove that he can stay fit and see more consistent time and production, it is hard to consider him.

Impact Hector was everywhere he possibly could be in the win Saturday. The midfielder typically sits as a more defensive mid, but he did quite the opposite. Hector was essentially an extra attacker through the majority of the match doing everything he could to generate the goals needed to secure the win. Furthermore, not only did he generate multiple chances, but he also took his fair share of chances as well. It was by far one of his best performances and it was an important performance at that.

Time and time again, Duda influences the play in every way possible and he will not only set up chances, but he continues to be one of the primary shooters as well. Whether Koln manage to stay alive in relegation playoffs or be sent down once again, Duda should remain the pivotal piece.
