Sebastian Rudy - Remains bench option Rudy made 22 appearances (six starts) during the final season of his contract with Hoffenheim.

Impact Rudy has not had his contract renewed with Hoffenheim and once again played a minor bench role. The midfielder managed just a single assist in his 786 minutes on the pitch. He did add 41 crosses and 26 tackles, but on the whole Rudy fell out of contention in the starting XI. It's possible his contract is renewed, though if it is not it's likely he would have suitors as a veteran depth option elsewhere in Germany.

Christoph Baumgartner - Expected to depart Baumgartner scored seven times and assisted three times during 33 starts and is expected to depart Hoffenheim during the Summer transfer window.

Impact Baumgartner was a brilliant producer as always and now has his sights set on Champions League action. The midfielder has reportedly agreed a deal that would send him to RB Leipzig after four and a half years with Hoffenheim. Baumgartner would continue to be a guaranteed starter if he surprisingly ends up back with Hoffenheim in 2023/24.

Angelo Stiller - Future uncertain Stiller made 20 appearances (six starts) scoring and assisting once during the 2022/23 Bundesliga.

Impact Stiller saw his role dwindle as he made just six starts and played almost a full 1,000 minutes less than he did in 2021/22. The midfielder has drawn interest from elsewhere in the Bundesliga and has largely fallen out of favor in Hoffenheim. Stiller managed 27 tackles and 13 clearances to go with his middling offensive production.

Impact Promel joined Hoffenheim from Union Berlin coming off an eight-goal campaign and had high hopes. He never really lived up to that though with only one goal and one assist on eight chances created. His volume and playing time fell as Promel struggled with a long-term ankle injury. Promel failed to get on the scoresheet after returning from in the injury but should have the chance to fully recover during the pre-season training camp. Promel still managed a major starting role when fully fit, a role that figures to continue in 2023/24.

Impact Becker never really managed to break into the starting XI, though he did start the final two Bundesliga matches. Across the entire season Becker shot six times and created four chances while making 10 tackles at right wing-back. Becker will likely remain a depth option if he doesn't go out on loan in 2023/24.

Impact Bischof was one of the youngest players to see any sort of playing time in the Bundesliga. The majority of his starts came with him at just 16 years old as he created five chances and took seven shots. Bischof is thought of as one of the top prospects in Germany and should see his role continue to grow and evolve in the 2023/24 campaign.
