Andrej Kramaric - Bags brace Saturday Kramaric scored two goals to go with two shots (two on goal), two crosses (zero accurate) and one chance created in Saturday's 2-0 victory versus Mainz.

Impact Kramaric scored both goals in Saturday's win, his third match this season with multiple goal contributions. He opened up the scoring in the 4th minute off a Bazoumana Toure cross, then doubled the lead in the 32nd minute off another Toure assist. He only took those two shots in the match and he added one chance created and two inaccurate crosses on the attack. He was subbed off in the 86th minute for Dennis Geiger.

Oliver Baumann - Keeps clean sheet Saturday Baumann made one save and allowed zero goals in Saturday's 2-0 victory over Mainz. In addition, he was given a yellow card in the 93rd minute.

Impact Baumann kept a clean sheet Saturday and only needed to make one save to do so. It marked his fourth clean sheet in 24 starts this season. While his defense certainly played well, Mainz was wasteful throughout the match as the team took 14 shots but only put one on target. Baumann faces a slightly more favorable matchup Saturday at Freiburg, a side which has scored 40 goals through 29 matches this season.

Impact Moerstedt is not in the call after battling an achilles issues, appearing to have failed testing ahead of the contest. This will make it four straight games out. He will hope to see the team sheet again soon, although he only appeared in one of the past four games he has been an option for.

Diadie Samassekou - Season not over Samassekou (thigh) could be back before the end of the season, per manager Christian Ilzer.

Impact Samassekou isn't done for the season as he works his way back from a thigh injury. The midfielder is back in individual training and is slowly integrating back into a full program. Samassekou suffered the thigh injury in March, his second major injury of the campaign.

Ihlas Bebou - Could return this season Bebou (knee) could return before the end of the season, according to manager Christian Ilzer.

Impact Bebou has a chance to return before the end of the season after undergoing knee surgery in August. The striker was a big part of the starting XI in 2023/24, but has missed the entirety of the season. Bebou would likely be eased back into minutes even if he returns before the end of the campaign.

Diadie Samassekou - Training separately Samassekou (thigh) has been spotted training separately towards his comeback, the club announced.

Impact Samassekou is nearing a return to the squad and could be back next week if everything goes as planned. He has been training separately from the group alongside Alexander Prass in recent days. His return would be notable since he was a regular starter before his injury and his setback in early March. That said, he will have to compete once fully fit to reclaim a starting role with Anton Stach and Tom Bischof performing well in central midfield.

Impact Prass is nearing a return to the squad and could be back next week if everything goes as planned. He has been training separately from the group alongside Diadie Samassekou in recent days. His return would be a boost after starting the last two matches before his injury. In the meantime Stanley Nsoki is expected to continue seeing more minutes at left-back.

Leo Ostigard - Suspension upgraded Ostigard has been suspended a further match and will miss two games due to his ban, according to his club.

Impact Ostigard will be sitting on the sidelines for two matches after seeing a red card last outing, as the DFB Sports Court has upgraded the ban. This will suspended him Saturday against Mainz and against Freiburg on April 19. He will next be available April 16 when facing Dortmund, with Stanley Nsoki a likely option to replace him in the middle of the defense.

Impact Prass will still be sidelined for a bit more time, set to miss at least two more weeks with the injury. This will give him a bit more time to recover, hoping he can make sure of a return before the end of the month. He did start in his last two outings, so they will hope he is available again soon.

Impact Hlozek suffered an ankle injury in early February and underwent surgery in mid-February. On Tuesday, he was seen participating in parts of team training for the first time, which is a positive sign as he nears a return to competition. He was a regular starter in the attack before his injury and should regain that role after building his fitness in the matches following his return. However, it is unclear if he will be available for Saturday's match against Leipzig as it may come too soon.
