He is coming off a decent Euro 2024 as a substitute with Austria and should continue to see decent time this campaign, probably seeing most of his time in a starting role.

Impact Kramaric picked up right where he left off in the previous season Saturday, as in the season opener he found the back of the net in the sixth, 37th and 87th minute to bag a hat trick after ending last season with a hat trick against Bayern Munich. This is great to see for the attacker, as he was also active outside of his goal, registering three chances created, four shots and 11 crosses. He will look to keep up his high form, looking to top his 15 goals from last season.

Oliver Baumann - Concedes twice against Kiel Baumann recorded four saves and allowed two goals in Saturday's 3-2 win over Holstein Kiel.

Impact Baumann escaped with the win Saturday but still wasn't at his best form, allowing two goals while making four saves against Kiel. He will continue to receive the start after starting in all 34 appearances last campaign, in search of his first clean sheet of the season when facing Frankfurt on August 31 in the club's next match.

Robin Hranac - Signs with Hoffenheim Hranac has completed a transfer to Hoffenheim from Viktoria Pilsen, according to his new club.

Impact Hranac has made the move over to Germany from Czechia, as he is joining Hoffenheim on a long-term deal. He is a solid defender, starting in all of Czechia's group stage matches last Euro 2024 while notching seven goal contributions in 52 appearances last campaign tie Viktoria Pilsen. He should see decent time this campaign, although a starting spot isn't guaranteed, likely serving in a rotational role off the bench.

Impact Bebou was a late scratch in a pre-season friendly after he felt issues in his knee during warmups. However, the injury has evolved and he received surgery on the area of complication. This is a brutal loss for the club, as he was expected to be a regular starter this campaign. Impact Tohumucu is set to miss some in preseason after picking up a strain. There is still about three weeks left until the start of the new season, where he is set to be questionable. The midfielder totaled 12 starts in 20 appearances in 2023/24, recording two assists during his third year with the side.

David Jurasek - Undergoes shoulder surgery Jurasek has underwent successful shoulder surgery and is set to miss the next few weeks.

Impact Jurasek spent half the season with Benfica, having made 12 appearances in all competitions before being sent on loan to Bochum in January. He ended up making four starts in 13 appearances with Hoffenheim, getting his first assist with the side. The defender is only remaining with the club on loan from Benfica until June 2025.

Impact Geiger finished the Bundesliga on the sideline due to a hip injury but he was fit and available for the opening match of pre-season. The midfielder was limited to just three appearances due to a variety of injuries, but in 2022/23, his last fully fit season, he started 27 matches. If Geiger can stay fit there's a path to significant playing time for him moving forward.

Mergim Berisha - Completes parts of training Berisha (knee) was able to complete parts of preseason training Tuesday.

Impact Berisha is continuing his return to fitness following his long term knee injury. He was able to train in preseason for the first time, with the next step is trying to feature in a preseason friendly for the team.

Tim Drexler - Extends contract Dexler has agreed to an extension with Hoffenheim, according to his club.

Impact Drexler will continue his tenure with Hoffenheim for a further season, with the defender extending for one season until 2028. He only saw a limited role last campaign, starting in six of his eight appearances while notching eight interceptions, 14 clearances and 16 tackles. That said, he will hope this contract extension earns him more time in the future.

Finn Ole Becker - Undergoes surgery Becker has undergone knee surgery for a torn meniscus and is set to miss the next few months.
