Impact Maldini has now started both matches to begin the season after signing permanently with Monza, seeing the same amount of time in both games after seeing a 62nd-minute substitution in both contests. He saw a decent performance against Genoa, notching one tackle, two shots and two crosses. However, he is still in search of his first goal contribution, earning five in his 11 appearances with the club last campaign.

Impact Kyriakopoulos performed well on both sides of the ball Saturday, registering one shot and two chances created in the attack to go along with one clearance, two interceptions and three tackles in the defense. However, what was most impressive were his team-leading eight crosses. Three came from corners, adding more value to the player if he remains on set piece duty.

Impact Mari was decent from his center-back position Saturday despite the 1-0 loss, with the defender registering two shots and a chance created in the attack to go along with two interceptions and six clearances in the defense. He has started in both matches to begin the season, playing the full 90 in each.
