Comes off injured during internationals Carrasquilla was subbed out of Panama's World Cup qualifier against Mexico on Wednesday in the 7th minute after suffering an apparent injury.
Scores first career goal Carrasquilla scored once, took two shots (one on target) and made three tackles (two won) during the 2-1 loss to Minnesota United on Saturday.
Impact Carrasquilla continues to improve game after game and the trend continued here with his first professional goal. The midfielder not only showed creativity and vision, but also the drive and patience. Since his arrival on loan he has elevated his game more and more in every way possible and because of this he is being rewarded with starting minutes. Carrasquilla still needs to work on his performance on both sides of the ball though before he can truly be considered game in and game out.

Joins Houston on loan Carrasquilla has joined Houston on loan from Spanish club Cartegena, it was announced Thursday.
Impact Carrasquilla has spent the last two seasons in Spain but where this deal really came to fruition was his time spent at the Gold Cup with Panama and their group stage spent at Houston's home stadium. Whether or not he can break into the starting lineup is something to find out, though for now he'll bolster what isn't exactly a deep creative lineup.
