Impact Benedyczak was thrown in for the final push but didn't make an impact. He'll compete with Ange-Yoan Bonny, Valentin Mihaila and Matteo Cancellieri from here on out since he can star in multiple offensive roles, but he hasn't been great after recovering from ankle surgery.

Impact Benedyczak will be back after sitting out one game and will provide an extra option either as a no.9 or on the left wing. He has appeared twice since recovering from a major ankle injury, posting three off-target shots, one inaccurate coss and two clearances.

Returning from major injury Benedyczak (ankle) "will be called up and could play a few minutes versus Empoli taking into consideration how long he's been on the shelf," coach Fabio Pecchia informed.

Impact Benedyczak will be available for the first time in the season as he completed his rehab from ankle surgery. He tallied 11 goals and three assists in 32 games last season while playing either as a left winger or as a striker.

Recovering from surgery Benedyczak underwent ankle surgery after the end of last season and is expected to return in late September or early October, La Gazzetta dello Sport informed.

Impact Benedyczak played through an injury during their bid to get promoted and went under the knife when they sealed it in May. Valentin Mihaila, Gabriel Charpentier and Anthony Partipilo will absorb his playing time in the early going.
