Signs with Houston Dynamo Ponce agreed to sign with the Dynamo until June of 2027, with options until the end of the 2027 and 2028 MLS seasons, from AEK Athens, his new club announced Monday.
Impact Ponce's deal marks the largest transfer fee in club history for the Dynamo. The striker will occupy a Designated Player spot pending receipt of his International Transfer Certificate (ITC) and P-1 Visa, and he is expected to be available as soon as the paperwork is finalized. Ponce will add another attacking threat to the Dnyamo, and he's coming off a 2023-24 season in which he bagged 16 goals in 1,891 minutes in all competitions for the Greek side.
