Abdel Abqar - Available to face Barcelona Abqar (not injury related) is in the squad to face Barcelona on Saturday.

Impact Abqar was called up by Morocco to play in the Africa Cup of Nations, but he's back in training following the team's early exit and has already been included in the squad to face Los Blaugranas. Abqar has been a constant presence at the back for Alaves this season with 14 starts, racking up 66 clearances.

Jesus Owono - Back from international duty Owono has returned from playing with Equatorial Guinea at AFCON and should be in contention against Barcelona on Saturday.

Impact Owono started all four matches for Equatorial Guinea, conceding four times while earning just one clean sheet. Despite the strong performance while on international duty, Owono will be hard-pressed to pry starts away from Antonio Sivera, who has featured in all 22 La Liga matches this season.

Andoni Gorosabel - Won't face Barcelona Gorosabel picked up his fifth yellow card of the season against Almeria and will be suspended to face Barcelona on Saturday.

Impact Gorosabel has not provided much on the offensive side of the ball this season outside of delivering multiple crosses in each of his last five outings, and given he plays for one of the worst defensive teams in the league, his upside won't be very high overall. His earliest chance to return to action will come against Villarreal on Feb. 10.

Impact Sivera was tested by Almeria but stood tall for his fifth clean sheet Friday. In his last five matches, Sivera has recorded two clean sheets and allowed just four non-penalty goals. He'll face a more potent attack when Alaves play Barcelona next Saturday.

Impact Samu started at forward and scored his sixth and seventh goal of the campaign Friday. He also won a penalty kick. The goals were his first since November, breaking a streak of seven straight games without finding the net. Samu now has two goals and one assist in his last three matches (one start, two substitute appearances). However, Samu has only played 90 minutes twice this season. He'll hope that a return to form will provide an opportunity for consecutive appearances in the starting lineup when Alaves face Barcelona next Saturday.
