Scores opener in win Pedraza scored a goal off two shots (both on target), made three tackles (one won), two clearances and three interceptions and helped his side to keep a clean sheet during Sunday's... Impact Pedraza had a lot of work defensively, with both Dani Alves and Adama Traore attacking from his flank. However, he was the one with the biggest offensive contribution as he went up the field at the right time, picking up Dani Parejo's beautiful pass into empty space and sending the ball past the goalkeeper to open the scoring for Villarreal in the 41st minute. The left back scored three of his four league goals over the last three matches of the season and also finished his campaign with four assists, 24 chances created, 101 crosses, 34 tackles, 29 clearances and 31 interceptions over 28 domestic appearances (19 starts). Competition at left back will probably be strong once again next season, but Pedraza showed he's more than apt to perform when given the chance.
