Impact Caci had plenty to do behind the ball and did well to pile on some strong defensive volume. The defender has limited upside but has seen a consistent rise in playing time heading into the second half of the season. Opening the 2023 campaign with a start is a good sign that will continue moving forward.

Impact Caci had plenty to do on both sides of the ball Wednesday, creating two chances while also making five interceptions. The center-back has earned a nailed-on role, especially as Alexander Hack falls out of favor with Bo Svensson. Caci will continue in his starting role heading into the international break, and has a good chance to open the second half as a consistent starter.

Interestingly the center-back was on corner duty in the second half, a role that could give him some unique upside if he eats into Aaron's role there. Caci has made starts in four of the last five with Maxim Leitsch out, though his role is likely to be reduced to the bench when Leitsch returns.
