Left off injury report Traustason was not included in the MLS availability report ahead of Sunday's matchup with Sporting KC.
Impact Traustason was making just his third start of the season when he was subbed off versus Union on May 28. The attacking midfielder is far from a lock for the starting XI and may struggle to make regular appearances for the squad, especially considering he has been an unused substitute five times this year.

Impact Traustason was having a good outing, but was forced off in the 63rd minute with an undisclosed injury. Sent off against Union Traustason was sent off after conceding two yellow cards and recorded an assist during Friday's 1-0 win over Philadelphia.
Impact Traustason should be suspended for the Sept. 11 match against NYCFC after his transgressions. This will be the second time in three starts that he has recorded an assist and been sent off, so he'll have to be careful not to incur any more suspensions in order to maintain his value over the final weeks of the season. In his absence, Carles Gil will look to make his long-awaited return to the lineup.
