Impact Tomiyasu used the last week to recover from his injury, playing his first match since Jan. 1 because of a calf issue. It's unknown where he's at fitness wise and if he can start twice on a short week, but for now, it's assumed he'll be ready to start against Burnley on Sunday.

Impact Saka was back in the team Thursday despite picking up an issue a week ago in the first leg. Saka always seems to get minor knocks in matches, but they don't usually keep him out long term and he should again be in the XI against Burnley on Sunday.

Impact Smith Rowe probably isn't completely healthy, but he got the start Thursday out of necessity. He hasn't started in league play since Dec. 2 and probably won't be risked twice on a short week ahead of the international break. It's more likely Eddie Nketiah enters the XI against Burnley on Sunday.

Martin Odegaard - Goes full 90 in Cup loss Odegaard (COVID-19) started and went the full 90 in Thursday's 2-0 Carabao Cup loss against Liverpool.
Impact Odegaard was back from COVID-19 and able to go the entire way, so he shouldn't be a worry for Sunday's league game. Given the lack of central midfielders, it seems like Arsenal will go with a 4-1-4-1 against Burnley, which would put Odegaard in a central midfield role.

Impact Partey clearly shouldn't have played given his time away in AFCON where he went 90 minutes in all three matches. Not to mention, Arsenal were already down a goal when he came on. It was a selfish decision by Mikel Arteta and now he'll have to pay the price, as Partey will be suspended for the team's league match against Burnley.
