Impact Zinchenko felt something in the warmups before the match against Fulham on Dec. 31, and while it wasn't a severe injury, it's unclear whether he'll be fit enough to recover and face Liverpool on Sunday. Knowing the team still has a packed schedule in the coming months, it wouldn't be surprising if Arsenal exercised caution in treating the injury to avoid aggravating it. If Zinchenko doesn't play Sunday, then Jakub Kiwior might start on the left side of the defense.

Impact Tomiyasu logged his first minutes since Dec. 2 against Wolverhampton, missing the previous six matches for Arsenal due to his calf problem. Ben White should continue to fill the right-back role while Tomiyasu is away on international duty. At a minimum, Tomiyasu will miss the club's next EPL clash versus Crystal Palace on Jan. 20, as well as an FA Cup match versus Liverpool on Sunday, but it could be longer depending on how far Japan goes in the tournament.

Impact Trossard was only on the pitch for 23 minutes Sunday but still put up a decent showing, whipping in four crosses during the loss. The attacker has seemed to fall back into a rotational role after getting the nod in three straight matches as a starter, having only started in three of the club's nine contests since then. He will hope to possibly earn more time in the starting XI again, as when starting, he has been decent, registering one goal on 15 shots and one assist on nine chances created to go along with 23 crosses in his six starts in the Premier League.

The attacker continues his goal-contribution drought, having gone five appearances without one, his longest streak of the season. However, he is still carrying on as a regular starter for the squad, notching two goals on 33 shots and two assists on 28 chances created to go along with 85 crosses in his 18 appearances in the Premier League this campaign.

Impact Saka got Arsenal out to a quick 1-0 lead despite ultimately losing the match, finding the back of the net in the fifth minute Sunday. Impact Raya was far from his best on Sunday, allowing two goals while only making two saves against Fulham. This was his third straight match without a clean sheet, having registered his last on Dec. 17 against Brighton. He will look to pick up his sixth clean sheet of the season once Arsenal resume play after the international break on Jan. 20 against Crystal Palace.
