Impact Phillips has yet to make his first team debut with Spurs and will now have that delayed after suffering an ankle injury. Phillips will be out for a while, it's especially disappointing since injuries elsewhere in the starting XI mean Phillips could have been in line for some minutes in December.

Impact It's uncertain whether Phillips was brought to fight for a starting role or if he'll simply add depth to the squad on the defensive end, though he's not likely to be a starter right away. He made only eight appearances for Blackburn during the 2022-23 Championship season.
