Still talking with Dallas Illarramendi is still in conversations with Dallas about a new contract for 2025.

Impact Illarramendi is still working on returning to Dallas, though nothing has been agreed. He is currently set for free agency, but he was a key part for Dallas in 2024 making 25 appearances (22 starts) and scoring once while adding six assists. If he can get a new deal sorted, Illarramendi should be a major contributor in 2025.

NOVEMBER 13 • ROTOWIRE

Assists in home win Illarramendi assisted once to go with zero corners and one chance created in Saturday's 2-1 win against Sporting Kansas City.

Impact Illarramendi created Peter Musa's opener in the 16th minute with his fifth assist in the season. The midfielder also scored once in 25 appearances (22 starts). He finished the campaign with 29 shots, 27 chances created, 57 tackles, 30 interceptions and 37 clearances.

Back following suspension Illarramendi has completed his one-game suspension and will be available to face San Jose on Wednesday.

Impact The talented midfielder is a key piece for Dallas, so having him back would represent a huge boost for the team. Expect the veteran to recover his place in the starting lineup right away to bring a much-needed stabilizing presence in the middle of the park.

Illarramendi has assisted in his last two MLS appearances, and while he operates as a defensive midfielder, he should continue to have upside due to his creativity and excellent passing. That said, his upside is limited as long as he remains playing in a holding role.

Starting against D. C. United Illarramendi is in the starting lineup to face D. C. United on Saturday.

Impact Illarramendi had been out for a month but bounced back in time for Saturday's clash. The midfielder could be productive in terms of passes and defensive numbers after tallying one goal, three assists, 911 accurate passes, 41 tackles and 23 clearances in 17 appearances this season.
