Impact This was a nice showing for the big central defender, who has been in-and-out of the starting XI over the course of the first seven league games (five starts). His two tackles and six clearances led Villa for the match, and he was an integral piece to keeping the clean sheet Friday. Fantasy managers could do worse at the position but will first want to monitor Mings's weekly status within the lineup.

Otherwise, it was a rather quiet game for the forward who was apparently under the weather prior to Friday's contest. While fantasy managers won't be overly excited with the outing, Villa showed signs of improvement in logging its first clean sheet win of the league season.
