Ollie Watkins - Quiet outing versus Man Utd Watkins had zero shots and made one clearance during Tuesday's 3-2 loss against Manchester United.
Impact Watkins had one of his worst performances of the season here, being completely held in check by the opposing defense and even failing to attempt a shot despite playing the full 90. With nine goals and six assists over 19 EPL starts, the striker remains one of Villa's top performers this season. He'll try to bounce back during Saturday's clash against Burnley.

Clement Lenglet - Logs assist versus Man Utd Lenglet provided an assist and made two tackles (both won), three clearances and one interception during Tuesday's 3-2 loss against Manchester United.
Impact Lenglet was solid defensively, especially during the first half, when he helped his team keeping the opposition scoreless and used his aerial presence on the attacking end to assist Leander Dendoncker for his team's second goal. This was an impressive outing for a player who was making just the second start of the season after being an unused substitute in each league contest since joining the club. Pau Torres, who was benched against United, could be back for Saturday's clash against Burnley but Lenglet proved he can be up to the task if he gets another nod.

Leander Dendoncker - Scores versus Man Utd Dendoncker scored a goal off his lone shot and made four tackles (three won) and two interceptions during Tuesday's 3-2 loss against Manchester United.
Impact Dendoncker had his first league start of the season and made most of the opportunity, displaying a lot of tenacity in the middle of the park and having an even bigger impact on the attacking end as he scored his side's second goal by just slotting the ball home after a corner kick was headed towards him in the 26th minute. With Boubacar Kamara still suspended and Youri Tielemans (undisclosed) doubtful for Saturday's clash against Burnley, Dendoncker could very well remain in Villa's starting XI.

Impact Martinez made some nice interventions and kept the opposition scoreless during the first half but things changed in the final frame as the goalkeeper was beaten three times and saw the opposition getting a come-from-behind win. This has been a campaign with lots of ups and downs for Martinez, who's always able to put on a show but at the same time has a defensive line that has failed him multiple times. With seven saves and five goals allowed over the last three starts, he'll try to bounce back during Saturday's home clash against Burnley.
