Teun Koopmeiners - Makes four tackles in loss Koopmeiners made four tackles (two won) during Sunday's 2-1 loss against Cagliari.

Impact Koopmeiners was coming off scoring three times over his previous two league appearances but couldn't be a factor this time, with his statistical contributions being limited to the defensive end. Despite the off day here, the playmaker is having the best numbers of his career on the attacking end and he'll certainly be a key piece for this Atalanta squad still hopeful for European qualification.

Ademola Lookman - Logs assist versus Cagliari Lookman made an assist, had one off-target shot, created three chances, sent in five inaccurate crosses and made six tackles (all won) during Sunday's 2-1 loss against Cagliari.

Impact Lookman returned to the starting XI after coming off the bench during the previous match and was his team's most dangerous player up front, with an assist for Gianluca Scamacca to open the scoring in the 13th minute, many other dangerous plays and even some defensive contribution. That's now eight goals and four assists for the forward in his second campaign with Atalanta and, now that he's fully fit after recovering from the ankle injury suffered during AFCON, his contributions during the final stretch of the season would be very welcome for a side still fighting for European qualification.

Gianluca Scamacca - Scores again versus Cagliari Scamacca scored a goal off his lone shot, created one chance and drew three fouls during Sunday's 2-1 loss against Cagliari.

Impact Scamacca opened the scoring for Atalanta with just 13 minutes into the game, slotting home a pass from the left in a very classy way. That's now back-to-back league games with a goal for the striker, who is bouncing back after a failed stint in England.

Impact Carnesecchi had a very unfortunate outing here, as the opposition scored once each half despite having just three shots on target during the entire game. Despite thiis bad stat line, the goalkeeper is having a very positive campaign overall, with 66 saves, seven clean sheets and just 22 goals allowed over 20 league starts.

Impact De Keteleare worked his way back from an injury but didn't make an impact. He has struggled to produce as of late, and Gianluca Scamacca and Ademola Lookman are in better form. Still, the Atalanta coach is keeping every attacker involved given the busy schedule. Impact Zappacosta won't be an option against Verona, which likely increases his chances of starting versus Liverpool midweek. Emil Holm or Hans Hateboer will man the right week next Monday.
