Impact Pasalic's current for in the UCL has been impressive, scoring in his third match in a row. He's managed to start seven of the nine games in the tournament, totaling three goals and one assist while averaging about 2.4 shots per 90 minutes played.

Impact Carnesecchi is back with the team after a thigh injury, missing two matches due to his injury. Impact Carnesecchi has completed his rehab from a thigh lesion and also battled the flu in recent days. He'll be back on goal over Rui Patricio if he's in good enough shape after two separate physical problems. He has given up seven goals in his last three appearances, keeping one clean sheet and making 17 saves.

Impact De Roon assisted his side's fifth and final goal Saturday as he set up Mateo Retegui's strike in the 56th minute. It came on one of four chances he created in the match. He also recorded two accurate crosses, won one tackle and made one clearance before he was subbed off in the 72nd minute for Ibrahim Sulemana.

Impact Ederson found the back of the net in the 37th minute Saturday, an unassisted strike which took the 3-0 lead. His goal is easy to overlook seeing that his teammate Mateo Retegui scored the other four goals, but it was good to see Ederson find the back of the net for the first time in Serie A since Nov. 23. He did not do much else before he was subbed off in the 59th minute for Mario Pasalic.

Mateo Retegui - Puts four past Verona Retegui scored four goals to go with seven shots (four on goal) and one chance created in Saturday's 5-0 win against Verona.

Impact Retegui was on fire Saturday as he put a career-high four goals past Verona. It marked his second match this season with four goal contributions and his fifth match with multiple goals. He expanded his lead as the league's highest scorer as he now has scored 20 goals through 22 matches, five more than second-placed Moise Kean. Three of his goals came in the first half and he finished the match with season highs in shots (seven) and shots on target (four) in his full 90 minutes of action.

Rui Patricio - Keeps clean sheet in second start Patricio registered six saves and secured a clean sheet in Saturday's 5-0 victory against Verona.

Impact Patricio made just his second Serie A start for Atalanta Saturday and put together a really nice performance. Despite facing six shots on target, he kept his first clean sheet of the season with six saves, his most in a match in over a year. With Marco Carnesecchi (thigh) likely remaining out for a bit longer, Patricio is set to start Wednesday at Club Brugge in the Champions League, and then again versus Cagliari on Saturday.

Stefan Posch - Heads to Atalanta Posch has transferred to Atalanta on loan with a purchase option from Bologna, the two teams announced.

Impact Posch lost the starting job to Emil Holm a couple of months ago, and Bologna are also set to sign Davide Calabria from Milan. He'll primarily play as a center-back at Atalanta, replacing Odilon Kossounou (thigh) and Giorgio Scalvini (shoulder), who are out long-term. Sead Kolasinac (thigh) is also currently on the mend.
