Pablo Barrios - Suffers muscular injury Barrios has suffered a muscular injury in his left leg and is expected to be sidelined for around three weeks at a minimum, the club announced Monday.

Impact Barrios departed the Spain U21 camp with the injury, and the tests revealed the injury, so the central midfielder will miss quite a few matches for Atletico, including the Champions League opener against RB Leipzig on Sep. 19. Based on the intial timeline, the earliest he might return to action could be the Oct. 6 match against Real Sociedad, but it wouldn't be surprising if he's sidelined until the end of the October international break.
