Impact Herrera has a few days to get back in shape for the start of the season, though he may not be ready in time for Sunday's trip to Celta Vigo. He only made eight starts from 16 appearances last season and his minutes will be absorbed by Geoffrey Kondogbia should Herrera be unable to play at any point.

Impact Savic helped keep 16 clean sheets in 33 starts last season en route to the La Liga title and earned a fresh deal with Los Rojiblancos as a result. Alongside Jose Maria Gimenez, Savic is one half of a consistently dominant defense in Spain and Europe. He also rejoined training this week ahead of the season opener at Celta Vigo, so he should have no problems featuring during that match.

Impact Hermoso is being monitored for any potential issue, and the fact that he's been held back doesn't foretell good news coming any time soon. There's still a couple weeks before the season opens against Celta Vigo on Aug 15, and Hermoso's versatility mean that Felipe and Renan Lodi can help fill for his potential absence from the side.
