Pau Cubarsi - Subbed off after kick to face Cubarsi (face) was subbed off due to injury in the 67th minute of Wednesday's 5-2 victory against Red Star Belgrade. He recorded two interceptions before exiting the match.
Impact Cubarsi was kicked in the face in the second half of Wednesday's match and was forced off of the pitch due to the bleeding. After the match it was revealed that the kick resulted in Cubarsi receiving 10 stitches in his cheek. Head coach Hansi Flick said "... he's fine. He has a scar, he is young and will recover." It's unclear if Cubarsi will be able to suit up for Sunday's La Liga clash at Real Sociedad, but the injury should not keep him out any longer than that.
