Adam Hlozek - Role dwindles Hlozek scored twice and assisted three goals during the Bundesliga.

Impact Hlozek's return looks decent at first glance, but on deeper inspection it was a very concerning season. 23 appearances is nice, but he started just five matches and played just 451 minutes. The attacker has done little to show that he has a long-term starting role in Leverkusen, and a bench role seems to be his ceiling going forward.

Exequiel Palacios - Excellent when fit Palacios scored four goals and assisted four more during 24 appearances (21 starts) in the Bundesliga.

Impact Palacios was brilliant once he overcame some injuries. The midfielder was nearly undroppable for large parts of the season and even added some offense to his game from defensive midfield. Granit Xhaka has unlocked Palacios in a big way, and as long as both remain in Leverkusen both should be strong producers.

Borja Iglesias - Quiet on loan Iglesias assisted once during four starts (11 appearances) on loan with Leverkusen.

Impact Iglesias joined Leverkusen to provide some depth in the attack and he did that, though he never played a large role. The forward will return to Betis at the end of the season, though he may search for a permanent move elsewhere. Barring a surprise it's unlikely that permanent move is with Leverkusen.

Jonathan Tah - Excellent in title win Tah made 31 appearances (30 starts), scoring four goals and assisting once in the Bundesliga.

Impact Tah continues to be one of the most consistent defenders in Germany, and he played a major role yet again. The defender now will look to continue his large role in the Euros. The defender will be the top choice in Leverkusen whenever available moving forward.

Edmond Tapsoba - Majors role continues Tapsoba made 28 appearances (23 starts) in the Bundesliga, assisting once.

Impact Tapsoba's role as the primary center-back alongside Jonathan Tah kept steady once more, as he surpassed 2,000 minutes yet again. The defender remains one of the constants in the backline and a major piece of the starting XI. Barring injury Tapsoba will head into 2024/25 as one of the top defensive options in Leverkusen.
