Transfers to New York City Risa has signed a two-and-a-half-year contract with the option to add another one with NYCFC after transferring from Norwegian side Molde FK, the club announced Monday.

Impact Risa has racked up seven goals and nine assists across 139 appearances in Norway's top division over the last seven seasons with Odds BK and Molde, and he also has two Bundesliga appearances (one start) to his name from his time with FC Koln back in 2017/18. The 25-year-old is now moving to MLS with New York City FC, where he can push Thiago Martins, Maxime Chanot and Braian Cufre for a starting spot in central defense or at left-back.
