Julian Ryerson - Transfers to Dortmund Ryerson has signed a three-and-a-half-year contract with Borussia Dortmund after transferring from Union Berlin, the club announced Tuesday. Impact Ryerson tallied three goals and three assists in 109 appearances in all competitions since joining Union in summer 2018, including 19 appearances (17 starts) across the Bundesliga and Europa League this season. The 25-year-old is now moving to Dortmund, where he can play at either wing-back position and could plug straight into the XI to replace the injured Thomas Meunier (calf) in the short-term future. Christopher Trimmel and Niko Giesselmann, meanwhile, should take back over as the starters on either side back at Union.
