Impact Nmecha entered the match as a sub in the 68th minute of play and provided an important contribution as he set up Jamie Bynoe-Gittens for a shot from the center of the box to put their side up 2-0 in the 86th minute. The assist marked the first goal contribution in four appearances on the season between league and UCL play for Nmecha. This also marked his first outing of the campaign with at least two chances created.

Impact While Heidenheim didn't represent a particularly tough opponent on paper, it's hard to blame Kobel for the two goals he conceded in this 4-2 rout. The goalkeeper should remain an elite option between the posts due to Dortmund's defensive power, and that should be even more noticeable when they play at home. Kobel and Dortmund will face Stuttgart on the road on Sep. 22 in their next match, and that promises to be a more complicated matchup.

Adeyemi seems poised to have a breakout season with Dortmund based on how good he's looked in the first rounds of the Bundesliga, and this game does nothing but confirming he seems ready to reach a new level in his play.
