Successful groin surgery Traore recently had surgery on his groin as he will continue to be sidelined for the Wolves, the club announces.

Impact Traore suffered a setback on his groin injury last month and has begun a rehab assignment. "Bouba was recently operated on and has started his rehabilitation" the team said. The veteran Joao Moutinho will continue to take his place in the midfield for the Wolves.

Signing on with Wolves Traore will begin a four-year contract with Wolverhampton after his loan from Metz ends.

Impact Traore has apparently shown enough to stick around at Wolves, having started four matches and appeared in eight in league play this season. He probably won't have a huge role the rest of the season given recent signings, but he figures to at least be an option for Julen Lopetegui once healthy.

The 21-year-old had started four of Wolves' final five games in midfield heading into the November break.
