Impact Brooks recovery from his cancer diagnosis continues to progress, though a hamstring injury during his recovery program certainly didn't help. With the extra month off, it's possible Brooks could be available as a bench option coming out of the World Cup break but probably shouldn't be expected to immediately jump into the starting XI considering it's been over a year since his last competitive match Sept. 29, 2021 versus Peterborough United.

Marcus Tavernier - Creates first assist Tavernier created an assist and placed one shot on target in Bournemouth's 3-2 defeat by Tottenham on Saturday.

Impact Tavernier worked tirelessly on Saturday defending attacks down Bournemouth's left flank, creating plays and shooting for goal. The assist was his first for Bournemouth, a well timed pass that allowed Kieffer Moore to sweep the ball into the net for the Cherries opener. Defensively he made two tackles, an interception and a clearance. He was unlucky not to get on the scoresheet with a solo effort in the opening minutes of the match that took all of Hugo Lloris' skill to stop. With the consistent energy he brings to the Cherries in each game, and his threatening attacks that tend to get the better of defenders, it is only a matter of time before he finds the net. He will likely be the Cherries starting goalkeeping for some weeks as first pick Neto recovers from a hamstring injury, He made four big saves that required skill but should have done better in saving Tottenham's second goal; he committed himself to come out to meet a corner cross only to miss the ball and leave Ben Davies to head it home. This error, and some other signs of nervousness at crosses and corners, can probably be put down to the fact he has only played in six games this season. He will need to re-find his confidence for Bournemouth's next against Leeds who will be buoyed by their triumph on Saturday over Liverpool at Anfield. Impact Moore has not been a regular starting striker for the Cherries but the hugely positive impact he made to the team on Saturday will probably alter that going forward. He was always dangerous in the air, being Bournemouth's target man from corners and set pieces. His first goal was a tremendous team effort built up from well inside the Cherries half. Moore met a Marcus Tavernier cross to put the ball in the net. The second was a brave diving header from an Adam Smith cross.The Welsh forward has now scored three from 13 appearances (6 starts).

Impact Moore came on for an injured Dominic Solanke just before half time. Moore could get some additional run should Solanke's injury keep him sidelined for any period of time.
