Ruptured achilles confirmed Guzan ruptured his achilles in Saturday's draw against Cincinnati and will have surgery this week, Atlanta United announced Monday.
Impact Guzan's season might be over after this achilles injury, although he might have a small chance to return in late 2022 if he can recover in time after this upcoming surgery. He has kept one clean sheet and conceded nine goals in seven matches this campaign, but Bobby Shuttleworth will now take over as the starting goalkeeper until he's fit again.
