Carlos Baleba - Spotted training Baleba (undisclosed) was spotted in training ahead of Saturday's trip to Newcastle.

Impact Baleba suffered an injury with Cameroon and went unused in the second international match. He's now back with Brighton and training ahead of Saturday's match. It's not clear if he will be fully fit for the match, if ruled out Mats Wieffer could take a larger starting role.

Simon Adingra - Active in team training Adingra (undisclosed) took full part in training ahead of Saturday's trip to Newcastle.

Impact Adingra was active throughout training ahead of Saturday's clash. The forward missed two matches before the break due to an injury, but seems to be back with the team. Before the injury he had primarily been a bench option, and he likely will return to a minimal bench role.

Adam Webster - Not an option Saturday Webster (undisclosed) is out for Saturday's match against Newcastle, according to manager Fabian Hurzeler. "Adam is another player who will miss the game against Newcastle."

Impact Webster has not recovered from the issues he picked up early in their win against Tottenham prior to the international break, as the defender has been ruled out to face Newcastle. No further update was given, leaving the location, severity and timetable for the injury up in the air. He has started in their past two games, so this will force a change. Igor could take his spot after replacing him against Spurs, although Jan Paul van Hecke will likely start in his spot after returning from a groin injury.

However, it appears the club is taking a cautious route, making sure not to rush the defender back. That said, they will now look for his availability in their next match, as he did start in their opening three matches of the season before his injury.

This continues to be a tough blow for the attacker, as he has now missed three of the club's past four games due to his issues. However, the midfielder still has yet to play, being held out Monday despite most signs and coaches pointing to a return. That said, he will look for a return in the following days, possibly being fit once he is back in Brighton to face Newcastle on Saturday.

Jason Steele - Relegated to backup duties Steele hasn't played in any of Brighton's last five Premier League matches.

Impact Steele opened the campaign as the starting goalkeeper and led the Seagulls to back-to-back wins over Everton and Manchester United, but he hasn't featured in a Premier League match since then. Bart Verbruggen seems likely to remain in the starting role going forward, meaning Steele will probably be limited to appearing in cup matches as long as the Dutchman remains healthy and available.

Igor - Barely seeing minutes Igor has made just two appearances off the bench through Brighton's first seven Premier League matches of the 2024/25 season.

Impact The defender made 17 starts and recorded 24 appearances in 2023/24, but he seems to have lost his place in this new campaign. The Brazilian has logged his two appearances in Brighton's most recent games, however, so he might be in line for an uptick in minutes in the subsequent weeks following the international break.

Julio Enciso - Limited to bench role Enciso has logged five appearances off the bench for Brighton so far this season.

Impact The talented playmaker hasn't had much of a chance to make an impact in the final third for the Seagulls, as he's logged 20 minutes or fewer in four of those outings and has been limited to just four shots (two on target) and three chances created in that span. Brighton have plenty of options in the final third, so Enciso's role is not expected to change any time soon if the rest of the starters remain relatively healthy.

Lewis Dunk - Ever-present in starting lineup Dunk has started each of Brighton's seven Premier League matches so far in 2024-25, racking up 14 clearances, seven interceptions and four blocked shots.

Impact Dunk's statistical output has been poor so far, as he's averaging just 2.0 clearances and 1.0 interceptions per game. He's played every minute in all but one of his appearances, however, so it's safe to say the knee injury that was bothering him in the summer is no longer an issue.

Adam Webster - Forced off early Webster was forced off the field in the ninth minute of Sunday's 2-1 win over Tottenham due to injury.

Impact Webster didn't last long Sunday, with the defender playing a minimal 90 minutes before exiting. Early indications point to a hamstring injury, although an official report from the club has yet to be released. He will have the international break to heal up, so the club will hope he is an option following the break, as he has started in their past two contests.

Kaoru Mitoma - Assists versus Spurs Mitoma assisted once to go with three shots (one on goal), five crosses (two accurate) and three chances created in Sunday's 3-2 win against Tottenham Hotspur.

Impact Mitoma recorded his second assist of the season as he set up Georginio Rutter's strike in the 58th minute which tied the match at 2-2. It was one of the three chances he created in the match. He also took three shots and recorded five crosses on the attack. He added two tackles and two interceptions in his full 90 minutes of action.

Georginio Rutter - Scores again Saturday Rutter scored one goal to go with two shots (one on goal) and one cross (zero accurate) in Sunday's 3-2 win against Tottenham Hotspur.

Impact Rutter scored in his second straight match Saturday as he found the back of the net in the 58th minute off a Kaoru Mitoma assist. He finished the match with two shots and one inaccurate cross before he was subbed off in the 73rd minute for Julio Enciso.
