Impact It sounds like Lamptey's knee was bugging him a bit, so he didn't make the squad Sunday. He'd started the prior two contests and has been in and out of the starting XI since the beginning of the season after missing almost a year because of a hamstring injury. More information will hopefully be known over the coming days.

Brighton are in no danger of being relegated this season, but Sanchez will still be looking for a third clean sheet in his last five games Sunday against Southampton, which have scored 38 times in 32 Premier League matches.

The best-case scenario is that this takes six months and he's on the pitch running by September or October, but playing for the national team on the biggest stage is another question.

Impact Sanchez was absolutely crucial for an upset win during Saturday's match. He was tested early and often by Arsenal and did well to shut the Gunners down. Sanchez will need to be at his brilliant best in his next two matches, against Tottenham and then Manchester City.
