Danny Welbeck - Available for Boxing Day Welbeck (hamstring) will be available for Sunday's match against Brentford, according to manager Graham Potter.

Impact It's the first update on Welbeck in more than a month and he's surprisingly ready to play again. While he's unlikely to start Sunday as he's not played since September, he'll provide minutes off the bench for the busy fixture list ahead, likely taking the spot of Aaron Connolly.

Shane Duffy - Eligible to return Duffy has served his one-match ban and will be available versus Brentford on Dec. 26.

Impact In 13 appearances this season (12 starts), Duffy has registered one goal on 17 shots (five on target), 62 clearances and 14 interceptions. The defender should be a lock for the starting XI but figures to offer no more than mid-range fantasy value given his limited offensive upside.

Yves Bissouma - Picks up fifth yellow card Bissouma conceded his fifth yellow card during Wednesday's 1-0 loss to Wolves and as a result will be suspended for Saturday's trip to Manchester United.

Impact Bissouma has earned plenty of plaudits for his defensive play but his 20 tackles made in the last seven matches have also been accompanied by four yellow cards. Enock Mwepu and Jakub Moder are two options to fill Bissouma's spot in defensive midfield during his absence.

Leandro Trossard - Match against Man United postponed Trossard and Brighton won't play Saturday after their match against Manchester United was postponed due to COVID-19 concerns.

Impact Brighton are less than 24 hours removed from losing to Wolves, so they'll get another week to get players back from injury ahead of the Boxing Day contest versus Brentford. Given Brighton's defensive injuries and COVID-19 cases, this match postponement is probably a good thing for them.

Impact If Veltman indeed suffered a hamstring injury, it'll put him out at least one match and possibly more. Brighton are struggling for healthy bodies and while Shane Duffy is available following suspension, he's their only true center-back available to them.

Impact Veltman appears to be playing at center-back Wednesday alongside Dan Burn due to Brighton's other absences. This limits any kind of fantasy value for Veltman, who no longer seems to have much of an attacking role, as Tariq Lamptey is now the guy on the wing and right-back.
