Will miss rest of season Lennon underwent shoulder surgery Thursday and will miss the rest of the 2024 MLS season, Doug Roberson of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Impact Lennon left the 2-1 loss to Inter Miami in Game 1 of the first round of the 2024 MLS Playoffs in the 21st minute, and the defender won't return for the rest of the season due to an aggravated shoulder dislocation. This means Ronald Hernandez will start the remaining games on the right side of the defense.

No training with team Lennon (shoulder) was not training with the team Thursday, according to Doug Roberson of AJC.

Impact Lennon has yet to train after suffering what has been reported as a dislocated shoulder in Saturday's match against Miami. That said, he likely won't be an option to face Miami this Saturday. If the reports of a dislocated shoulder are true, the defender could have seen his last minutes of play this campaign, as Atlanta could be eliminated from the playoffs with a loss Saturday.

Impact Lennon is at risk of missing Saturday's crucial second match against Inter Miami with a dislocated shoulder. He's managed to maintain healthy all season, missing just one match through suspension while starting all 35 MLS matches for Atlanta, totaling 258 crosses (93 accurate) for an average of about 7.3 crosses per game. His potential absence could mean that Ronald Hernandez will start at right back, if needed.

This marks his first goal of the season in their biggest match of the season, brining him to eight goal contributions on the campaign. Impact Lennon didn't have the greatest outing Saturday, as despite starting and playing the full 90, he could only manage a shot, one chance created and three crosses. It has now been four games since his last assist, still with five and chasing down his 12 from last season. However, he will have plenty of chances to add to that tally, having yet to miss a start this year and likely to continue to make the starting XI at right-back.

Impact Lennon had a great offensive outing and led Atlanta in crosses as usual. The right-back also led his side in chances created (four), while taking five of their seven corner kicks. He did receive his fifth yellow card in the campaign, though.

Impact Lennon was held off the scoresheet, but led Atlanta with five crosses in the loss. The wide man has one goal involvement over his last three matches while combining for five chances created and a whopping 35 crosses inflated by his role on corner kicks for Atlanta.
