The midfielder will hope to only miss one match, as the club will want his presence back in the squad with multiple key players also out due to injury. Manager Thomas Tuchel should give more on the injury in Friday's press conference, but with him being out against Augsburg, expect Aleksandar Pavlovic to get the start alongside Leon Goretzka in the defensive part of the midfield.

Konrad Laimer - Injures tendon in calfLaimer looks to be out for around the next eight weeks, having picked up a calf injury against Union Berlin on Wednesday, according to Dennis Brosda of Bild.
ImpactLaimer is just another player to add to Bayern's injury list, now having five defenders out for Saturday's match against Augsburg after the Austrian went down with a calf issue. This will be a huge loss over the next eight weeks for the club, as Laimer has appeared in every match this season while starting in 17 of the club's 24 contests. He will now hope to return around the middle of March, with Raphael Guerreiro taking over his spot at right-back and possibly Noussair Mazraoui as well, once he returns from international duty.

Dayot Upamecano - Out for three weeksUpamecano will be out for about three weeks after picking up a thigh injury in the club's past match against Union Berlin on Wednesday, according to Dennis Brosda of Bild.
ImpactUpamecano had to leave the pitch at halftime of Wednesday's match due to an undisclosed injury, and after testing, it was determined he has a thigh injury that could leave him out for the next three weeks. This is not an injury that will go over well within the club, as they are now without five of their defenders, as Konrad Laimer also went down injured against Berlin. The club will most likely call upon Matthijs De Ligt to start in the Frenchman's absence while they hope for a speedy recovery from Upamecano and a possible return in late February.
