Marco Reus - Sidelined once againReus (illness) is out for Friday's contest against Heidenheim.
ImpactReus continues on the sidelines, now missing two straight matches with his illness. His status has not been updated over the week, so it is still unsure how he is recovering, but he will hope to return next week against Freiburg on Friday. He will look to start once healthy, as his last two appearances came off the bench.

Felix Nmecha - Still waiting on returnNmecha (hip) is out for Friday's match against Heidenheim.
ImpactNmecha remains on the injury report for another week, still having to recover from a hip injury he picked up in early November. There has not been much released on the player's rehabilitation process lately, so it is hard to determine when to expect him back on the field. He will hope to by the end of the month, but that is still up in the air.

ImpactRyerson was introduced back into training this week but remains on the sidelines anyway, having yet to fully recover from his knee injury. The wingback has now missed eight straight matches, hopefully returning soon as he is one of their regular starters.

Gregor Kobel - Sidelined against HeidenheimKobel (illness) is out for Friday's contest against Heidenheim.
ImpactKobel remains shelved, giving up his duties to Alexander Meyer for a second straight match after not recovering from an illness. The club and Kobel will hope to get the player back on the field as soon as possible, as he is one of their best players when leading the team, truly being one of the most underrated goalkeepers in all of Europe.
FEBRUARY 2ROTOWIRE
Julien Duranville - Remains shelvedDuranville (thigh) is out for Friday's contest against Heidenheim.
ImpactDuranville is still waiting on his season debut despite training this week, having been left out once again due to a thigh issue he started the season with. The forward has to be itching to get on the field at this point, and his return should be any time now, for sure returning in February.
