Nkunku Decides For RB! | RB Leipzig - TSG Hoffenheim 1-0 | Highlights | MD 30 – Bundesliga 2022/23
2 years ago
Oliver Baumann - Single save in lossBaumann had one save and allowed one goal in Saturday's 1-0 loss against RB Leipzig.
ImpactBaumann faced two shots Saturday and stopped just one of them. It's a disappointing day for the goalkeeper who came so close to a sixth Bundesliga clean sheet. Baumann has made 96 saves and conceded 51 times through 30 appearances, while earning five clean sheets, numbers right in line with his mediocre 2021/22.

Kevin Akpoguma - Busy in lossAkpoguma recorded two tackles (two won), four clearances and two interceptions in Saturday's 1-0 defeat to RB Leipzig. In addition, he was given a yellow card in the 86th minute.
ImpactAkpoguma was a doubt to start Saturday's clash after picking up a nose issue against Koln. The defender was able to start and go the full 90, picking up some major defensive volume all over the pitch. The only downside for Akpoguma is that he picked up a 10th Bundesliga yellow card and will now be suspended for a Saturday clash with Frankfurt.

Janis Blaswich - Single-save clean sheetBlaswich made one save and allowed zero goals in Saturday's 1-0 win over Hoffenheim.
ImpactBlaswich faced just a single shot during Saturdays match and stopped it with ease to earn the clean sheet. The goalkeeper is now up to six clean sheets in 23 appearances. It's been a surprise season for Blaswich with Peter Gulacsi (knee) going down with a long-term injury. Blaswich's performances could see him earn a move elsewhere after showing what he can do in a starting role.

Lukas Klostermann - Starting againKlostermann had one shot (zero on goal) and one cross (zero accurate) in Saturday's 1-0 win against Hoffenheim.
ImpactKlostermann made a third start straight, continuing to earn a surprisingly consistent role in the starting XI. Klostermann has shown strong form in those three starts, pushing Mohamad Simakan to right-back and forming a formidable back three with Josko Gvardiol and Willi Orban. Klostermann has been in and out of the starting XI throughout, but seems set to close the season with a substantial role.
APRIL 29, 2023ROTOWIRE
Marcel Halstenberg - Active off benchHalstenberg had one shot (zero on goal) and one cross (zero accurate) in Saturday's 1-0 win over Hoffenheim.
ImpactHalstenberg fell back to the bench for Saturday's clash, though he was brought on for the final 30 minutes. Halstenberg is in a tough spot, he's certainly been competent when in the starting XI, but doesn't offer as much as David Raum on the left flank while Benjamin Henrichs and Mohamad Simakan form stout competition at right-back. Halstenberg is productive when in the starting XI but is tough to trust otherwise.

Konrad Laimer - Returns to starting XILaimer had one shot (one on goal) and one cross (zero accurate) in Saturday's 1-0 win over Hoffenheim.
ImpactLaimer got back in the starting XI after three matches on the bench and was good to go the full 90. The midfielder has seemingly randomly ended up out of favor with manager Marco Rose, but on the whole has seen a consistent role. Laimer has seen 17 appearances (13 starts) largely being limited by a variety of injuries that have seen Kevin Kampl and Amadou Haidara placed in the starting XI.
