Charlie Taylor - Another solid campaign with Burnley Taylor scored one goal, recorded one assist and kept two clean sheets in 28 appearances (25 starts) this past season.

Impact Taylor put together another solid season with Burnley, highlighted by his first career Premier League goal, a strike against Bournemouth in October. He put up solid defensive numbers too, recording 35 tackles, 19 interceptions, 67 clearances and 11 blocked shots. The 30-year-old's contract expires at the end of June, although Burnley announced the club offered him an extension in May.

Maxime Esteve - Loan spell earns permanent move Esteve made 55 clearances, 27 interceptions and picked up six yellow cards in 16 appearances (15 starts) this past season.

Impact Esteve was loaned to Burnley from Montpellier in late January, a loan that was made permanent on May 21. While he did not record any goal contributions or keep a clean sheet, he was a mainstay in central defense, recording 27 tackles, 27 interceptions, 55 clearances and 10 blocked shots. He will likely be an important part of Burnley's defense in the Championship next season.

Lorenz Assignon - Solid loan spell at Burnley Assignon scored one goal and recorded two assists in 15 appearances (all starts) with Burnley this past season.

Impact Assignon joined Burnley on loan late in January and started every match except for one (red card suspension). He recorded three goal contributions, two of which came in a 4-1 win at Sheffield United. While he did not keep a clean sheet, he put up solid defensive numbers, recording 35 tackles, 19 interceptions, 41 clearances and seven blocked shots. The 23-year-old will now return to Rennes and will look to earn a consistent starting role at right-back.

Dara O'Shea - Productive season with Burnley O'Shea scored three goals, recorded four assists and kept one clean sheet in 33 appearances (32 starts) this past season.

Impact O'Shea had a productive debut season with Burnley, recording an impressive seven goal contributions -- tied for the second most on the team -- as a center-back. While he only kept one clean sheet, he put up solid defensive statistics too, recording 39 tackles, 35 interceptions, 158 clearances and 30 blocked shots in nearly 2900 minutes of action. If Burnley is able to earn promotion back into the Premier League next season, O'Shea will likely be a big reason why.

Josh Brownhill - Six goal contributions for Burnley Brownhill scored four goals and recorded two assists in 33 appearances (23 starts) this past season.

Impact Brownhill had the best Premier League campaign of his career, recording six goal contributions despite starting just 23 matches. After starting 22 of the first 26 matches, Brownhill fell out of favor, starting just once across the final 12 matches of the season. He maintained production off the bench though, recording two goal contributions off the bench in that final stretch. Next season Brownhill will head back down to the Championship with Burnley, a competition where he recorded 15 goal contributions in 41 appearances during the 2022-2023 campaign.

Jacob Bruun Larsen - Productive loan spell at Burnley Bruun Larsen scored six goals on 44 shots (16 on target) in 32 appearances (16 starts) this past season.

Impact Despite starting fewer than half of his side's matches, Bruun Larsen led Burnley with six goals. He started the final 12 matches of the season and scored four of his goals during that stretch, proving what he is capable of when given the opportunity. He also created 25 chances, recorded 62 crosses (23 on target) and took 46 corners. He now will head back to TSG Hoffenheim and will look to finally establish himself as a mainstay in his parent club's starting XI.

Sander Berge - Mainstay in Burnley's midfield Berge scored one goal and recorded two assists in 37 appearances (34 starts) this past season.

Impact Berge only missed one match all season and played the full 90 minutes in 28 matches. While his attacking production was nothing special, he put up solid defensive numbers despite his team's struggles in that area. He recorded 76 tackles, 23 interceptions, 58 clearances and 20 blocked shots, all of which set career highs. He will likely maintain his place in midfield next season in the Championship.
