Impact Arzamendia benefitted from a VAR call that cleared his strike in the first half for a solid return to the starting lineup. However, he's now a doubt for Sunday's match at Real Madrid and potentially into early 2022 depending on how his recovery progresses. Should Alberto Perea be able to play, he would likely return to the left side of the midfield while Arzamendia is out, though Salvi replaced him during Monday's match.

Impact Perea was able to make some plays from the left flank, but his biggest contribution came too late as the assist for his side's lone goal of the match came only during second half's stoppage time to just cut the deficit to one goal. The good news for Perea is that he could finally appear on the scoresheet this season and he'll now try to remain productive during Dec. 13 home match against Granada.
