Recalled from loan Casadei has been recalled back to Chelsea from his loan spell at Leicester City, the club announced Friday. Impact Casadei will be spending the second half of the season back with his parent club as he looks to be a part of manager Mauricio Pochettino's plans moving forward. He managed 25 appearances across all competitions while with the Foxes, notching three goals in those contests. The 21-year-old will now hope to find some time within the first team at Chelsea after his loan, as the club will be forced to rotate the squad more often now that the cup schedule is starting to pick up in one of the busiest parts of the season. He should be a solid bench option if given the chance, as his playmaking in the midfield is a huge reason Leicester sits atop the Championship with a seven-point lead.
