ImpactSzczesny has opted out of retirement to help out Barcelona after they lost regular starter Marc-Andre ter Stegen for much of the season due to a knee issue. The Polish keeper has had a long and honorable career, playing in 548 matches over a 17-year career, earning 210 clean sheets in that time while allowing 559 goals. He will join the club as a second to begin with but could take the spot of Inaki Pena if he starts to struggle.
