ImpactMalen suffered the injury that ruled him out for the second leg of the Champions League semi final against Atleti. The forward is now expected to miss a second match, during the league clash against Leverkusen. Jamie Bynoe-Gittens could get the start with Malen on the sideline.

ImpactHummels started off the match well as he assisted Julian Brandt's opener in the 34th minute. However he scored an own goal in the 49th minute, a goal which tied the two legs at 3-3. Luckily for him his side was able to nullify his costly mistake and pull out the victory to advance to the Champions League semifinals. Outside of the own goal he had a solid defensive performance, recording two tackles, two interceptions, five clearances and one blocked shot in his full 90 minutes of action.

ImpactMaatsen scored in the 39th minute of Tuesday's match, a strike which gave his side the 3-2 lead over two legs. It marked his first Champions League goal of the season. It came on his only shot in the match and he also created one chance, recorded three inaccurate crosses and made four clearances in his full 90 minutes of action.

ImpactBrandt scored the opening goal of Tuesday's match, a difficult strike in the 34th minute which tied the two legs at 2-2. He also had a productive creative performance as he created four chances and recorded seven crosses before being subbed off in the 90th minute for Marco Reus. He now faces Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League semifinals, a side which he did not do much against in two group stage matches earlier this season.

Those fears were squandered in the second half as he and Marcel Sabitzer took over the match. Sabitzer's cross in the 71st minute set up Fullkrug's equalizing goal, and then Fullkrug assisted Sabitzer's winner in the 74th minute to send Dortmund to the Champions League semifinals. Despite the injury concerns, Fullkrug played the full 90 minutes for the first time since March 13.

ImpactSabitzer was excellent in Tuesday's victory, a win that sends his side to the Champions League semifinals. First, he assisted Ian Maatsen's strike in the 39th minute to take a 3-2 lead over two legs. After Atletico took back the lead in the second half, Sabitzer and Niclas Fullkrug took over the match over a three-minute stretch. His cross assisted Fullkrug in the 71st minute to tie the quarterfinals, then Sabitzer scored the winner in the 74th minute off a Fullkrug assist. After also scoring a brace in Saturday's win over Borussia Monchengladbach, Sabitzer is in possibly the best form of his career.
