The midfielder is merely dealing with a tight calf according to Potter, though that could still see him back on the bench for Saturday's trip to Brighton. Kovacic has been dealing with some minor issues over the past month, and has generally been playing 50-60 minutes per match, going the full 90 just twice out of eight appearances in October.
