Alexander Nubel - Struggles in drawNubel recorded two saves and allowed one goal in Tuesday's 1-1 draw versus Sparta Prague.
ImpactNubel made a pair of saves and was beaten in the first half, leaving him with the draw. The goalkeeper has had some frustrating matches to start this Champions League campaign. Still as the Stuttgart defense gets healthier, Nubel should have some better chances for clean sheets. This busy period in three competitions could leave Nubel without a consistent backline though, which could prove to be a short-term hinderance.
OCTOBER 1ROTOWIRE
Angelo Stiller - Busy creativelyStiller had three shots (two on goal) and four chances created in Tuesday's 1-1 draw versus Sparta Prague.
ImpactStiller was at the heart of everything going forward during Tuesday's frustrating draw. The midfielder created four chances and came so close to multiple assists. Stiller has been excellent in holding midfield since joining Stuttgart, and has truly established himself as the top option in the center of the park, on both sides of the ball.
OCTOBER 1ROTOWIRE
Jamie Leweling - Six crosses TuesdayLeweling recorded three shots (one on goal) and six crosses (one accurate) in Tuesday's 1-1 draw versus Sparta Prague.
ImpactLeweling was busy throughout Tuesday's draw, sending in crosses and trying his luck on goal. In the end neither of those proved to be fruitful for the winger, who has taken a larger role in recent weeks. Leweling may not have the upside of some other Stuttgart attackers, but he has the ability to be a game changer and his volume is encouraging in all competitions.
OCTOBER 1ROTOWIRE
Maximilian Mittelstadt - Assists earlyMittelstadt assisted once to go with one shot (zero on goal), nine crosses (three accurate) and three chances created in Tuesday's 1-1 draw against Sparta Prague.
ImpactMittelstadt provided the assist for Enzo Millot's goal early on in Tuesday's Champions League draw. The left-back has been excellent throughout the last season with Stuttgart and is the unquestioned top choice on the left side of the defense. Mittelstadt will hope to keep the good form rolling during a busy period with action across three competitions.
OCTOBER 1ROTOWIRE
Enzo Millot - Scores in drawMillot scored one goal to go with five shots (three on goal), three crosses (one accurate) and two corners in Tuesday's 1-1 draw against Sparta Prague.
ImpactMillot opened the scoring early during Tuesday's clash, but was then denied the rest of the way. The midfielder has taken on a larger role in the Champions League, and has done well with the extra minutes. Still Stuttgart have a deep squad and Millot will see plenty of rotation, limiting his ceiling in any match.
OCTOBER 1ROTOWIRE
Atakan Karazor - Ban reversedKarazor has had his suspension overturned by the DFB sports court, according to his club.
ImpactKarazor will avoid a suspension, as the midfielder's second yellow card has been overturned, removing his red and only ending the match with a single yellow card. This puts him back into contention for their next match, in which he should start, as he has started in all six games to begin the season.
OCTOBER 1ROTOWIRE
Nikolas Nartey - Still not readyNartey (knee) is out for Tuesday's match against Sparta Prague.
ImpactNartey is still waiting on his return dating back to last season, having not played since the 2022/23 campaign due to a cartilage issues in his knee. He was back training individually in early September, but with no recent updates, a return date is still unkown.
