Impact Shaqiri delivered a well-placed assist to winger Chris Mueller to briefly get Chicago back into the game in the 49th minute. Following a quiet start to the year, the Swiss midfielder has become progressively more involved in the Chicago attack as the season has moved along. He now has four assists in his last four games. The Fire will need him to continue producing at a high level if they have any postseason aspirations.
