Concedes twice in draw Walton registered two saves and allowed two goals in Sunday's 2-2 draw against Fulham.

Impact Walton made his third start of the season Sunday and conceded multiple goals for the second time. In fairness to him, both of the goals were penalties by Raul Jimenez. Next up he faces a matchup of similar difficulty versus Brighton on Jan. 16, a side which has scored 30 goals through 20 matches this season.

Logs four-save clean sheet Walton had four saves and secured a clean sheet in Monday's 2-0 win over Chelsea.

Impact Arijanet Muric was dropped in favor of Walton, who maintained a clean sheet against one of the Premier League's top teams. Considering that Muric has failed to log a clean sheet since Sept. 14, perhaps Walton's latest performance is worth at least some consideration for more playing time in goal. Monday is a promising way for Walton to end his 2024, whose Chelsea appearance was his lone since inking a contract extension back in September.

Inks new contract Walton has signed a new contract with Ipswich Town, according to his club.

Impact Walton has no intentions of leaving Ipswich anytime soon, as the 28-year-old has inked an extension until 2026. He has been with the club since 2021, mainly serving in a backup role. He looks likely to continue in that role throughout the remainder of his contract, with Arijanet Muric having a firm grip on the starting spot.

Impact Walton kept a clean sheet going into halftime and seemed to be doing well to contain the Liverpool attack. A pair of second half goals left him with little to show for his first match in the Premier League though. Walton will likely face plenty of shots, and struggle to keep up with the sheer quality of Premier League attacks.
