Alvaro Morata - Will miss significant time Morata has been diagnosed with a high-grade strain of the adductor longus in his right thigh, Como announced.
Impact Morata will be sidelined for at least six to eight weeks and potentially more, depending on how the rehab goes and how much time he'll need to work on his conditioning after being medically cleared. Tasos Douvikas will lead the line in the next matches, with Alberto Cerri as his deputy.
2 DAYS AGO • ROTOWIRE
Lucas Da Cunha - Produces against Inter Da Cunha created five scoring chances and had one shot (zero on goal), five crosses (three accurate) and two corners in Saturday's 4-0 defeat against Inter Milan.
Impact Da Cunha had a quality display despite the heavy defeat, pacing his side in key passes, setting a new season high, and co-leading it in deliveries along with Jesus Rodriguez. He has alternated with Maxence Caqueret as of late, but Maximo Perrone will be suspended for the next match. He has tallied multiple crosses in the last five rounds, amassing 10 (four accurate) and adding three shots (one on target) and five corners.
6 DAYS AGO • ROTOWIRE
Maximo Perrone - Suspended for Roma game Perrone had one shot (one on goal), one tackle (one won) and one chance created and was booked for the fifth time in Saturday's 4-0 defeat to Inter Milan.
Impact Perrone was overwhelmed by the opponents, like most of his teammates, and will have to sit out next Monday's clash with Roma due to yellow-card accumulation. Lucas Da Cunha and Maxence Caqueret will likely partner up in the midfield in the next fixture, while Sergi Roberto (thigh) could return and provide some depth.
6 DAYS AGO • ROTOWIRE
Nico Paz - Imprecise against Inter Paz drew three fouls and registered five shots (one on goal), one cross (zero accurate) and one chance created in Saturday's 4-0 defeat against Inter Milan.
Impact Paz was the liveliest attacker for his team in the large defeat, leading it in attempts, but he was more wasteful than usual. He maintained his season-long streak of matches with at least one attempt, piling up 50 in 14 showings (20 on target). He has launched at least one cross in the last eight rounds, amassing 19 (four accurate) and logging two goals, two assists and 11 key passes over that span.
6 DAYS AGO • ROTOWIRE
Assane Diao - Takes two shots against Inter Diao (thigh) drew two fouls and generated two shots (one on goal), one interception and one cross (one accurate) in 45 minutes in Saturday's 4-0 defeat against Inter Milan.
Impact Diao came off the bench at the interval and looked pretty spry in his return from a thigh injury despite a rough outing for his side. He had at least one cross in every display so far, totaling six in five matches (one accurate) and notching four shots (one on target). On the other hand, his return could be short-lived, as he might be called up by Senegal for AFCON 2025.
6 DAYS AGO • ROTOWIRE
Jean Butez - Blown away by Inter Butez recorded three saves and two clearances and allowed four goals in Saturday's 4-0 defeat against Inter Milan.
Impact Butez gave up multiple goals for the first time in the game, as his defense struggled to contain the Inter frontline. He has kept three clean sheets in the last five games, making 19 saves and five clearances. Up next, Como will face Roma away next Monday.
6 DAYS AGO • ROTOWIRE
Alvaro Morata - Limps off against Inter Morata subbed out in the 32nd minute of Saturday's game against Inter Milan because of a muscular injury, Sky Italy reported.
Impact Morata didn't record stats during his time on the pitch and bowed out quickly after pulling up during a sprint due to a possible groin or upper thigh issue. He'll take tests before next Monday's away game versus Roma. Tasos Douvikas would take over the position if he missed time.
DECEMBER 6 • ROTOWIRE
Assane Diao - Bench option Diao (thigh) is on the bench for Saturday's match against Inter Milan.
Impact Diao is an option as expected Saturday, with the attacker an option from the bench after his thigh injury. He has started in three of his five appearances on the team sheet this season and will likely push for a starting role after testing his legs.
DECEMBER 6 • ROTOWIRE
Assane Diao - Available against Inter Diao (thigh) "is returning and will be an important extra weapon for us Saturday," coach Cesc Fabregas announced.
Impact Diao has shaken off his second injury of the year and will likely begin on the bench, as Jesus Rodriguez has done well recently. He has featured four times so far, notching two shots (zero on target) and five crosses (zero accurate).
DECEMBER 5 • ROTOWIRE
Nico Paz - Assists in home win Nico Paz assisted once to go with six shots (four on goal), three crosses (zero accurate) and one corner in Friday's 2-0 win over Sassuolo.
Impact Paz logged his fifth assist in the season to help Como earn three points at home. The midfielder had a great effort and led his side in shots, crosses and duels won (five) in the match. He started in all 13 games so far, also scoring five goals himself.
DECEMBER 1 • ROTOWIRE
Alberto Moreno - Scores against Sassuolo Moreno scored one goal to go with three shots (one on goal), two crosses (one accurate) and two chances created in Friday's 2-0 win over Sassuolo.
Impact Moreno scored his first gaol in the season in the second half to seal Como's home win. The left-back led his side in clearances (four) on defense. That was his third start in three appearances.
DECEMBER 1 • ROTOWIRE
Anastasios Douvikas - Scores opener in win Tasos Douvikas scored one goal to go with two shots (two on goal) in Friday's 2-0 victory over Sassuolo.
Impact Douvikas scored the opener in the 14th minute with his third goal in the season. The forward won the second-most duels (four) for Como in the match. That was his sixth start in 13 overall appearances.
DECEMBER 1 • ROTOWIRE
Jean Butez - Keeps clean sheet in win Butez recorded five saves and secured a clean sheet in Friday's 2-0 win against Sassuolo.
Impact Butez logged his sixth clean sheet to help Como win at home. The goalkeeer made five or mores saves for the third time in 13 starts. He will now face a tougher matchup visiting Inter Milan on Saturday.
DECEMBER 1 • ROTOWIRE
Maximo Perrone - Assists twice in win Perrone assisted twice to go with zero corners and two chances created in Monday's 5-1 win against Torino.
Impact Perrone is typically a defensive engine in the Como midfield, but he showed his creative upside as well with a strong assist off a corner and through ball. He has recorded 19 tackles in Serie A this season while continuing to handle his defensive responsibilities. He has now started three straight league matches, conceding only one goal in that span and contributing to two clean sheets. Perrone remains a key presence in the midfield.
NOVEMBER 26 • ROTOWIRE
Martin Baturina - Scores late after subbing on Baturina scored one goal to go with one shot (one on goal) in Monday's 5-1 win against Torino.
Impact Baturina has continued to struggle for minutes since joining from Dinamo Zagreb in the summer. He produced a quality finish with his first shot on target this season, and it could be a step in the right direction. However, the Como attack has been very successful this year, so his playing time moving forward remains uncertain.
NOVEMBER 26 • ROTOWIRE
Nico Paz - Gets back on scoresheet Nico Paz scored one goal to go with two shots (one on goal), one cross (one accurate) and two chances created in Monday's 5-1 win versus Torino.
Impact Paz scored for the first time in five league matches, finishing a well-timed through ball from Maximo Perrone during Como's dominant attacking performance. He currently leads Serie A in goal contributions this season and continues to be a key figure in Como's strong run. Como now face a difficult stretch against Sassuolo, Inter Milan, and Roma, but Paz remains the focal point of their attack, carrying over the form he showed last season.
NOVEMBER 26 • ROTOWIRE
Jayden Addai - Scores twice in dominant win Addai scored two goals to go with three shots (two on goal) and two crosses (zero accurate) in Monday's 5-1 win against Torino.
Impact Addai is beginning to find form for Como, having now started their last three matches. He has three league goals in just 428 minutes, which highlights his attacking upside as he continues to earn more consistent playing time. He has also already matched his goal tally from last season in 14 fewer appearances, showing clear signs of progression.
NOVEMBER 26 • ROTOWIRE
Jean Butez - Concedes penalty in victory Butez made one save and allowed one goal in Monday's 5-1 win versus Torino.
Impact Butez didn't have much to do in Monday's match thanks to Como's dominant performance. He conceded a penalty goal but stayed solid from open play and kept the back line organized. Como have now allowed the second-fewest goals in Serie A with just seven conceded and five clean sheets recorded. The upcoming stretch will be a tougher test for Butez, with Sassuolo, Inter Milan, and Roma on the schedule.
NOVEMBER 26 • ROTOWIRE
Alberto Dossena - Still out Monday Dossena (knee) hasn't been selected for Monday's match versus Torino.
Impact Dossena is ramping up in training and is almost ready to return from a major knee injury, but he'll be given more time. The short turnaround doesn't work in his favor ahead of the ensuing match versus Sassuolo either. Jacobo Ramon, Diego Carlos and Marc-Oliver Kempf are at the top of the defensive depth chart.
NOVEMBER 23 • ROTOWIRE
Alberto Dossena - Could be back versus Torino Dossena (knee) wasn't mentioned by coach Cesc Fabregas among the players who would miss Monday's game against Torino.
Impact Dossena was expected to return around this time earlier in the season after suffering an ACL rupture in March, and it appears that the timetable has been respected. He's unlikely to get minutes right away as Como have three other trustworthy defenders ahead of him in the depth chart.
NOVEMBER 22 • ROTOWIRE
Sergi Roberto - Remains sidelined Roberto (thigh) "is unavailable for Monday's match against Torino," coach Cesc Fabregas started.
Impact Roberto hasn't been able to recuperate during the break and could skip further games. He's been out since late October. Maximo Perrone, Lucas Da Cunha and Maxence Caqueret have patrolled the midfield in recent matches.
NOVEMBER 22 • ROTOWIRE
Assane Diao - Will miss some time Diao has been diagnosed with a low-grade strain in his left biceps femoris, Como announced.
Impact Diao will have to sit out at least a couple of games after picking up a muscular problem in the last Serie A match and aggravating it while training with Senegal. He continues to be slowed down by injuries and has appeared just four times so far. Jesus Rodriguez, Jayden Addai and Nicolas Kuhn will absorb his minutes.
NOVEMBER 17 • ROTOWIRE
Assane Diao - Ruled out for international friendlies Diao won't be involved in two friendlies with Senegal because of a left hamstring injury he suffered with his team, the Federation announced.
Impact Diao practiced with the team for a few days but was deemed unfit to play against Brazil and Kenya and will be released early. He'll take tests upon his return to Como. He is in doubt for November 24's away game against Torino. He has been splitting duties with Jesus Rodriguez on the left wing since returning from a previous injury.
NOVEMBER 15 • ROTOWIRE
Marc Kempf - DNP versus Cagliari Kempf (ankle) was an unused sub in Saturday's 0-0 draw with Cagliari.
Impact Kempf was available despite not being fully fit but wasn't needed in this one. He'll compete with Diego Carlos and Jacobo Ramon for two spots in the middle of the defense going forward, as the coach has gone back and forth with his selection. He had started in three of the previous six matches, notching 17 clearances, three blocks and two tackles (one won), scoring once and contributing to two clean sheets over that span.
NOVEMBER 11 • ROTOWIRE
Maxence Caqueret - Terrible in service Caqueret generated eight crosses (one accurate) and six corners in Saturday's 0-0 draw versus Cagliari.
Impact Only one of Caqueret's eight crosses was considered accurate, and Como didn't generate many chances off his corners either. It was a rough showing for the midfielder but a favorable matchup with Torino looms in two weeks. Torino has conceded 16 goals in 10 matches, so Caqueret can have better stats if he's slightly more on point with his crossing.
