Impact Baird scored a simple right footed goal assisted by Bradley Smith in the ninth minute. He has played really well in the last two games as he has scored twice and assisted once. He will hope to continue this run of form midweek against Columbus Crew. He was replaced by Griffin Dorsey in the 70th minute.

Impact Baird had an excellent 90 minutes of play in Sunday's match, contributing a goal and an assist in the win. The 27-year-old's goal contribution's against the Timbers were his first in almost a month but also brought his tally to seven on the year. The attacker has appeared in every match this season and has already topped his stats from last season but as of recently has struggled to make an impact on the pitch. Impact Baird only made it through 13 games for LAFC but still managed to score three times and add two assists, so this is a decent haul for someone who's started once in his last four appearances. From a Houston perspective, they get a capable player who can start at all three forward positions and bolster the shortest area of their depth chart.
